Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary Position is responsible for the cleanliness of assigned areas, offices, building facilities or other residential space associated with a business unit for WashU. Daily communication with housekeeping supervisor is crucial to relay any issues concerning an assignment, student related concern, a building or furniture issue or the need for supplies and equipment. Report all maintenance issues that are observed within the resident areas by calling the Residential Life Center or Facilities customer service; report any suspicious person to Campus Police; follow the rules and regulations of WashU in St. Louis. Perform other duties as assigned. Working Conditions: Job Location/Working Conditions Will be working in scattered site ‘off-campus’ buildings.  Occasional seasonal weekend shifts may be required. Physical Effort Frequently bends, kneels and squats throughout the day.  Requires candidates to be on their feet most of the day. Must be physically fit and capable of lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs. to waist level. Equipment Some exposure to dust/allergens, and use of various cleaning agents/chemicals.
