Systems Integration : Connect Appian solutions with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs , web services, and relational databases (SQL, Oracle) Process Automation : Implement automated workflows, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), and AI capabilities to streamline complex business operations. Maintenance & Support : Troubleshoot application defects, optimize performance, and manage deployments through DevOps pipelines. Collaboration : Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical designs. Your skills and experience Appian Platform : Deep expertise in Appian objects (Sites, Records, Reports) and version 20.x or higher. Programming : While low-code, proficiency in Java or .Net, JavaScript, and SQL is often required for custom plugins and data management. Data Handling : Strong understanding of CDTs (Custom Data Types), data fabric architecture, and relational database design. Tools : Familiarity with Agile methodologies and development tools like Jira , Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Git. Qualifications & Certifications Education : A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is standard. Certifications : Most employers prefer or require Appian certifications, such as Associate Developer (L1) , Senior Developer (L2) , or Lead Developer (L3) .
