Job Description Summary The East Asia Strategy & Growth Initiatives Director is responsible for leading and supporting cross product, cross business, and cross-country growth initiatives for GEHC Pharmaceutical Diagnostic in the East Asia region (Greater China, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand). This role will also be responsible for supporting the region’s strategic planning, selected market assessments and target evaluations to qualify and present growth opportunities. Collaborate with country General Managers to develop strategies for existing products & service portfolio as well as new business models for white space, new technologies and emerging areas. Engage across function, team and business & support new business incubation, M&A/BD due diligence & support Coordinate cross-functional workstreams (e.g., with commercial, marketing, BD, finance, RA/QA, and product) by tracking actions, timelines, and dependencies and escalating risks as needed. Provide support and help to ensure timely delivery and achievement of business objectives. Lead and assist in preparing presentations, briefings, and meeting notes for internal reviews (e.g., strategy reviews, opportunity assessments, and business case governance), ensuring timely follow-up and documentation. Perform business modelling (e.g., revenue/cost scenarios, pricing and volume sensitivity, and investment cases) and extract the key insights needed to inform trade-offs and decision making. Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process. Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision. Required Qualifications This role requires significant experience in cross functional, strategic roles. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college Proven experience in influencing teams and driving change, results orientated Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated facilitation experience English speaking Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills  Desired Characteristics Substantial experience in business development, marketing or project/product management, in recognized Pharmaceutical/Medical Device Global companies or Consultancy company Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
