If you’re hungry to have an impact, want to build at a fast pace, and ready to work at the forefront of AI, we want to hear from you.   Position description   As a member of one of our engineering teams, you'll be a key player in making SonarQube Server and Cloud the best tools for Code Quality and Security, providing new features to deliver high quality and powerful products and services that help our users write better software. Our team specializes in delivering features for large customers on our enterprise plans.   You will have the opportunity to see your features come to life in Production with short iteration loops. While keeping our roadmap and business priorities in mind, you will be able to have a high impact on the software that we own and develop.   By joining us you will bring your experience and expertise to help push our product to its next stage of evolution and fulfill the needs of our large user and customer base.\n What you will do<ul> <li>Work with Product Managers and UX designers to specify new features and improve our products.</li> <li>Develop those new features with the end user in mind, and write unit tests and integration tests for them.</li> <li>Lead the definition of the architecture of our applications on AWS.</li> <li>Have strong ownership of the team’s work and drive sprints to completion.</li> <li>Deploy and monitor our new features in production.</li> <li>Help solve production problems related to our team’s features.</li> <li>Provide mentorship to engineers to help them grow in their technical responsibilities and remove blockers to their autonomy.</li> <li>Work with agile methodologies.</li> <li>Contribute to the definition of the team’s short and long-term goals.</li> <li>Collaborate on the definition of initiatives.</li> <li>Work on the implementation of experiments.</li> <li>Put in place and track experiment results.</li> </ul> Experience and qualifications<ul> <li>4+ years of experience as a Java Software Engineer.</li> <li>3+ years of experience with frontend web development and TypeScript, preferably React.</li> <li>1+ year of experience as a Staff Engineer or equivalent level.</li> <li>Developing in Java with clean and maintainable code, having design patterns and application’s architecture in mind.</li> <li>Good knowledge of engineering processes, structural design, and system optimization.</li> <li>Excellent engineering skills and a good understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.</li> <li>Experience architecting cloud-native applications on AWS.</li> <li>Experience with relational RDBMS (such as Postgres) and SQL.</li> <li>Code Quality practices (experience in using testing frameworks), constructive code reviews.</li> <li>Tooling: Knowledge of build tools (Maven or Gradle); Experience with a version control system such as git.</li> <li>Experience in fast evolving environment (e.g. testing, experimentation, prototyping).</li> <li>Extensive hands-on experience with experimentation, preferably from the consumer app world or building applications with tens of millions of users.</li> </ul> Additional comments<div>This role is based in Geneva.
