This requires the ability to own mechanical design and fabrication, electrical design and bringup, and software architecture and development. If successful, you will be the principal engineer to demonstrate the feasibility of whole body reversible cryopreservation in rodents. </span></p>\n<p></p><p><br></p><b>About you</b><ul> <li>3+ years of relevant engineering experience</li> <li>Mechanical design and fabrication experience (rapid prototyping, 3D printing, etc)</li> <li>Experience designing electrical circuits from protoboard to PCB</li> <li>Experience with object oriented programming in C++/python</li> <li>Eager to integrate into a neuroscience/biology group irrespective of past experience</li> <li>Track record of exceptional engineering</li> <li>Desire to join a small, fast paced team on an excellent adventure</li> </ul><p><br></p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b><ul> <li>Experience with fluidic circuits (heat exchange, perfusion, etc.)</li> <li>Experience working in a research biology context</li> </ul><p><br></p><p></p>\n<div>$120,000 - $190,000 a year</div><small><div><span style="font-size: 16px;">While this represents our expected range based on market data, final compensation will be determined based on your specific qualifications and may be outside this range.
