In this role, you will collaborate with our team to develop, lead, and deliver various industrial water/wastewater projects across the U.S.    Who are we looking for:  In response to our need for growth, Woodard & Curran offers a unique opportunity to support project delivery and leadership in our Industrial Water Practice, which provides high-quality engineering and design services to industrial and commercial clients throughout the U.S. The successful candidate will be a motivated, growth-oriented professional with the ability to manage project teams from the planning, preliminary design, final design, construction, start-up, and operations phases of facilities or infrastructure. You will have staff to mentor and clients to support. Not only will you have engineers to support you, but our integrated electrical, structural, CAD, operations, and SCADA teams will help you deliver an enhanced product. You will be an active participant in our delivery system improvement programs and continuous learning opportunities.     Woodard & Curran is seeking a motivated senior professional with an entrepreneurial spirit, a demonstrated focus on industrial clients and safe practices, and a passion for innovation and technical excellence in the industrial water/wastewater field. The position requires a strong communicator with the demonstrated ability to develop, lead, and mentor project teams.    Location: Nation Wide Search Office Preference: Remote/Virtual  Travel: Up to 25% within the continental US \n What You Will Be Doing at Woodard & Curran: <ul> <li>Managing and executing work on industrial water and wastewater system design, planning, and construction projects by leading and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams within Woodard & Curran and with subconsultants. </li> <li>Determining the overall delivery approach for projects. Partner with senior leadership to develop technical approaches to larger projects. </li> <li>Scheduling and tracking project budgets, milestones, and deliverables. </li> <li>Utilizing Woodard & Curran’s Project Management Framework to execute all projects. </li> <li>Demonstrating strong and proactive communication skills to keep the project management and technical team(s) updated as project work progresses.  </li> <li>Connecting and working with external suppliers and subcontractors support project delivery </li> <li>Interacting with clients and representing the firm in a professional manner </li> <li>Visiting client sites for meetings, proposal development, and/or to observe the status of construction projects.  </li> <li>Coordinating with contractors and clients in the field during construction to ensure that projects are executed in compliance with the Contract Documents.  </li> <li>Conducting and coordinating QA/QC reviews on project deliverables to ensure Woodard & Curran technical excellence standards are met. </li> <li>Collaborating with leadership and resource leaders on staffing projects. </li> <li>Providing input on the development of Woodard & Curran design guidelines and standards. </li> <li>Preparing and delivering presentations and training programs to internal and external clients and professional associations. </li> <li>Supporting business development efforts under the direction of a client manager. </li> <li>Mentor staff in technical and project management skill areas. </li> </ul> What You Will Need To Succeed: <ul> <li>M.S. (P.E. or other certification/advanced degree preferred) in Engineering. </li> <li>10+ years of professional experience with an engineering consulting firm. </li> <li>Demonstrated experience serving industrial clients. </li> <li>Strong appreciation of and commitment to safe work practices is mandatory. </li> <li>Industrial client engineering and/or design-build expertise, preferably in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical/chemical, data center, life sciences, and/or consumer products markets. </li> <li>Ability to manage multiple projects with demonstrated strong project management skills </li> <li>Demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations to stakeholders. </li> <li>Strong written and verbal skills and demonstrated track record of delivering quality projects within scope, schedule, and budget.  </li> </ul> \n<div>$110,000 - $175,000 a year</div><div> <div> This role has the option for remote work, and the anticipated pay range is flexible, depending on factors such as the employee's primary work location, skills, experience, and education. The following examples illustrate how the pay range for the same role can vary based on different locations.    Group A (MT, ME, FL) = $110,000 - $130,000 Group B (PA, Northampton, MA, MO, GA, RI) = $120,000 - $145,000 Group C (CO, CT, NJ, MA, CA, NY) = $135,000 - $175,000   This position’s anticipated pay range is provided; the final exempt salary or non-exempt hourly pay will depend on experience level and consider a percentage-based geographic differential based on where the final candidate will be working.
