Celebrate It All with Petal & Pup If you are a problem solver, self-starter, optimist who loves collaborating and figuring things out, then we would love to connect with you!  About the RoleReporting into the Global Financial Controller, this role leads and supports finance compliance activities across multiple brands and jurisdictions, ensuring accurate statutory lodgements, alignment with global and local financial regulations, and harmonisation of group-wide policies. The role requires strong technical tax and accounting knowledge, expertise in automation and process optimisation, and the ability to manage complex regulatory environments across (but not limited to) Australia, United States, New Zealand, Singapore, and the UK.\n Responsibilities<ul><li>Regulatory Reporting; Support timely and accurate preparation and lodgement of - </li><li>BAS, GST/VAT, PAYG I &amp; PAYG W, Royalties</li><li>FBT Returns</li><li>Australia, New Zealand and United States Tax and Financial documentation (IFRS, AASB, GAAP)</li><li>Employee Share Scheme reporting to ATO</li><li>Payroll Tax obligations across all Australian states</li><li>WorkCover</li><li>Payment Times Reporting Scheme</li><li>Maintain a compliance calendar capturing all regulatory and statutory deadlines globally</li><li>Compliance Technology & Automation; Manage monitoring tools that track reconciliations, approvals, audit trails, and exception reporting (Floqast).</li><li>Interbrand Transactions & Transfer Pricing; Ensure arms-length pricing and compliance with transfer pricing documentation requirements.</li><li>Audit & Assurance; Be the key point of contact for external audit requests and manage internal teams workflows to meet expected deadlines. </li><li>Group-Wide Policy Harmonisation; Develop and maintain standardisation of finance and tax compliance policies across all brands.</li><li>Continuous Improvement; Facilitate cross-brand knowledge sharing and identify process optimisation opportunities.</li><li>Stay up to date with global changes that could impact our business whether that be through subscription services, readings or webinars.</li></ul> Skills & Experience<ul><li>CPA/CA or Equivalent qualification required</li><li>Minimum 5+ years in a finance, tax, or compliance role</li><li>Strong understanding of financial reporting frameworks (IFRS/AASB/GAAP) recommended.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with internal, cross brand, and external parties.</li></ul> \nWe are a people-centric culture building sincere relationships with our customers and our teams. We Are ThoughtfulWe Are AmbitiousWe Are Easy to Love We care about our employees and have curated a benefit package that enriches our team's experience.
