These workflows only succeed if the Page Builder provides the right primitives: real-time feedback, clear progress and status, predictable performance, and UX that keeps users in control.</p><p>We are evolving the Page Builder into an <b>agent-ready surface,</b> a rich editing environment where humans and agents collaborate seamlessly.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">Role 💫</span></p><p><br></p><p>As Prismic scales, our ambition grows: the Page Builder is no longer just a visual editor; it is the foundation for all agentic workflows.</p><p>We’re looking for a <b>Senior Software Engineer</b> to join our <b>Page Builder Squad</b> and build a rich, engaging editing experience designed for agentic interactions end-to-end.</p><p><br></p><p>You will help shape:</p><p>-A generic Prismic agent experience embedded directly in the editor.</p><p>-Smart search that helps users find, trigger, and guide agent workflows.</p><p>-High-quality streaming interactions that show work happening in real time.</p><p>-The editor-side foundations (real-time collaboration, updates, notifications, UX primitives) that allow agent capabilities to scale without degrading usability.</p><p><br></p><p>Everything we ship must make agent-driven workflows feel:</p><p>-Fast</p><p>-Reliable</p><p>-Transparent</p><p>-Predictable</p><p>-And always under the user’s control</p><p><br></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">What you will be doing 🔧</span></p><p><br></p><p>-Build and ship a rich Page Builder experience designed specifically for agentic workflows.</p><p>-Implement smart search and discovery mechanisms that infer user intent and surface the right actions or agents.</p><p>-Engineer high-quality streaming interactions that show agent progress in real time with clear states and feedback.</p><p>-Design UX primitives for long-running, multi-step workflows spanning pages, slices, assets, and collaborators.</p><p>-Strengthen real-time collaboration capabilities to ensure agent and human edits coexist safely and smoothly.</p><p>-Develop robust notification and status systems that make asynchronous and background operations visible and understandable.</p><p>-Improve performance and predictability across the editing lifecycle so agent-driven workflows remain fast and responsive.</p><p>-Collaborate closely with designers and PMs to translate complex AI workflows into intuitive editing experiences.</p><p>-Ensure the Page Builder architecture can evolve as new agent capabilities are introduced, without introducing UX fragmentation or technical fragility.</p><p><br></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">Technologies and tools</span></p><p>-TypeScript (NodeJS)</p><p>-React</p><p>-AWS</p><p>-SST</p><p>-Serverless architecture</p><p>-PostgreSQL</p><p>-LangGraph</p><p>-Playwright</p><p>-GitHub Actions</p><p>-Cursor / Claude Code</p><p><br></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">Are you the one? 🧠</span></p><p><br></p><p>Ideally, you:</p><p>-Have strong experience building complex frontend applications with React and modern TypeScript. You are a full-stack engineer or aim to become one.</p><p>-Care deeply about user experience, especially in highly interactive, stateful applications.</p><p>-Understand real-time systems: collaboration, live updates, conflict handling, and low-latency feedback loops.</p><p>-Think holistically about UX primitives, loading states, progress, notifications, streaming, error recovery, not just individual components.</p><p>-Are comfortable designing scalable backend services when needed to support editor capabilities.</p><p>-Think pragmatically about performance and predictability in rich editing environments.</p><p>-Thrive in close collaboration with designers to shape intuitive interaction models for new paradigms.</p><p>-Write clear code and design docs, and raise the quality bar through thoughtful code reviews.</p><p>-Are curious about agentic AI workflows and how they reshape interaction patterns in software products.</p><p>-Care about building systems that remain usable and coherent as capabilities grow.</p><p><br></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">Bonus points</span></p><p>-Experience building page builders, visual editors, or other rich content creation tools.</p><p>-Experience implementing real-time collaboration systems.</p><p>-Experience integrating streaming APIs or real-time AI interactions into UI surfaces.</p><p><br></p><p>If you don’t tick all the boxes, no worries, we still encourage you to apply.
