The Firm’s International Tax Practice is one of the largest on the West Coast and its well-recognized SEC practice serves approximately 35 public reporting companies, mostly in the technology industry.\n Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare and review U.S. corporate separate and consolidated Federal Tax returns.</li></ul><ul><li>Conduct research and analysis on state tax laws, regulations, and case law to support client positions.</li><li>Assist clients with state tax audits, notices, and appeals.</li><li>Track and manage federal and state tax notices.</li><li>Prepare response letters and forms for state tax notices.</li><li>Assist the Senior Manager and Team in resolving state tax notices.</li><li>Experience with U.S. International Tax filings is a plus. </li><li>Communicate with IRS and State tax departments to follow up on notices and inquiries.</li><li>Identify and implement tax planning strategies to minimize state tax liabilities.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including federal tax, international tax, and transfer pricing.</li><li>Stay current on state tax developments and communicate relevant changes to clients and internal teams.</li></ul> You will (Job Responsibilities):<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CA, CPA, EA, or equivalent qualification preferred.</li><li>2.5–4 years of relevant experience in U.S. state and local tax compliance and consulting.</li><li>Strong understanding of U.S. C Corp Federal concepts, including nexus, apportionment, and unitary filings.</li><li>Experience with tax software such as GoSystem, OneSource, or Corptax is a plus.</li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Experience with Onesource Income Tax</li></ul> \n
