You’ll be working hands-on with large, custom-built electromechanical systems, solving real-world mechanical challenges that are central to creating a sustainable critical materials supply chain.  This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and wants to make a direct impact on the future of industrial technology and sustainability. This candidate will train and work in our Burlington, MA facility then transfer to our brand-new Rare Earth metal refining facility in Exeter, NH.     \n Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Assemble, install, and maintain custom mechanical and electromechanical systems used in critical metals production </li> <li>Perform precision alignments, calibrations, and diagnostics on high-power, high-temperature equipment</li> <li>Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues involving motors, gear systems, pumps, and other large industrial components </li> <li>Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure reliability and minimize downtime </li> <li>Work closely with engineering teams to implement system upgrades and mechanical improvements </li> <li>Maintain detailed logs, schematics, and repair documentation for traceability and operational excellence </li> <li>Ensure adherence to safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement of safety protocols </li> <li>Support testing and validation of equipment performance during commissioning and ramp-up phases </li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul> <li>5+ years of experience as a mechanical technician working with industrial equipment </li> <li>Demonstrated experience in assembly, troubleshooting, and maintenance of large-scale or complex electromechanical systems </li> <li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, mechanical schematics, and technical documentation </li> <li>Familiarity with machine tools, welding, rigging, and fabrication techniques </li> <li>Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to quality and system reliability </li> <li>Experience working in startup or R&D environments is a plus </li> <li>Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment </li> </ul> We offer a competitive compensation package that is based on expertise.
