Medical, dental, vision, paid parental leave, life insurance, disability insurancePlan for Your Future.  Strong 401(k) company match plus ESOP sharesProfessional Growth & Mentoring.   In-house training, education assistance, paid time for professional organization involvement AMT is seeking a Transportation Project Manager with 8-12 years’ experience for a position in our Towson, Maryland or Rockville, Maryland office.  The position is full-time, and AMT will provide the flexibility and necessary equipment to work from home 2 to 3 days per week, as agreed upon with the Transportation Group Leader. You’ll find success in this position if you:·        Have strong time management skills and the ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects·        Can identify and resolve project risks and design challenges   ·        Enjoy building and motivating teams·        Have strong written and oral communication skills\n Qualifications<ul><li>Professional Engineer (PE) in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington DC Required</li><li>8 to 12 years’ experience in roadway, highway, and traffic control plan preparation with past project management experience</li><li>Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D </li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills </li></ul> Responsibilities<ul><li>Leading multi-discipline teams to deliver transportation design projects, with a focus on multi-modal roadway projects</li><li>Serving as liaison between client and project team including external stakeholder agencies</li><li>Managing all technical resources on the project team including subconsultants</li><li>Preparing task proposals and establish project pricing and budgets</li><li>Developing project management plans for assigned projects and preparing monthly progress reports</li><li>Developing and maintaining project schedules </li><li>Leading or participating in client meetings and presentations</li><li>Providing quality control reviews of submittals and deliverables </li><li>Mentoring and training junior staff</li><li>Assisting with production tasks (CADD drawings, reports, graphics / renderings, etc.)</li><li>Assisting Group Leader and Division Directors with business development and proposals</li><li>Maintaining a positive working relationships with co-workers, project managers, supervisors, and other team members</li></ul> \nWith 70 years of distinguished service within the mid-Atlantic region, AMT has established itself as an Engineering News Record Top 500 Design Firm and has been honored by ZweigGroup as a Hot Firm.
