The schedule is Sunday-Wednesday 8am-6:30pm.\n Responsibilities<ul> <li>Lead team of 4-6 supervisors and warehouse staff of up to 250 on assigned shift to hit productivity, quality, safety, and ship on time targets</li> <li>Partner with Ops Manager and support teams to meet business goals</li> <li>Engage with team during shift to promote positive culture and maintain high levels of quality, safety, and performance</li> <li>Assist in operations by working with General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Operations Manager</li> <li>Ability to shift plan and labor share in accordance with daily goals and order numbers</li> <li>Facilitate open communication between 1st and 3rd shift to ensure teamwork to achieve common goal</li> <li>Provide direction to supervisors and leads in department and across shifts to ensure changes/updates in policy and procedure are communicated</li> <li>Tracking attendance and approving timecards for associates</li> <li>Coaching, training, and re-training associates on labeling/packaging procedure</li> <li>Resolving employee relations matters and conflicts, working with HR to develop sustainable solutions</li> <li>Monitor productivity and make recommendations to reach and exceed metrics</li> <li>Administer progressive discipline due to employee behavioral/productivity issues</li> <li>Help contributors understand and connect to our vision, mission, strategy, and business priorities</li> <li>Ensure the safety of all team members by teaching, promoting, and exemplifying safety guidelines</li> <li>Manage leads to ensure they are working closely with team members by training, coaching, and problem-solving issues with orders (if applicable)</li> <li>Uphold company policies and professional workplace behavior by leading by example</li> <li>Problem solving in real time using counting and basic math</li> <li>Familiar with Warehouse Management Software to track and solve problems with orders</li> <li>Work cooperatively with other managers, supervisors, coordinators, and leads</li> <li>Ability to have a flexible schedule and come in outside of normal working hours to provide coverage for management staff when needed.</li> </ul> Qualifications<ul> <li>3-5 years in supervisory role, preferably with a focus in a distribution center/warehouse environment</li> <li>Minimum of 1 years of operations experience in a warehouse/distribution, logistics environment</li> <li>Able to maintain confidentiality</li> <li>Familiar with Warehouse Management Software to track and solve problems with orders</li> <li>Must be able to display effective communication to associate, management and executive staff members</li> <li>Prior experience creating and executing a shift plan</li> <li>Understanding of basic math and excel formulas</li> <li>Understands how important process control is to the business</li> <li>Flexible- Embraces Change</li> <li>Problem Solver</li> <li>Proficient use of Microsoft Office, including Excel, as well as Google Suite, Gmail</li> <li>Previous experience/knowledge of Workday preferred</li> <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality</li> <li>Ability to follow procedure, practice sound judgment and practice a fair and consistent management style</li> <li>Comfortable working and communicating with a diverse employee demographic</li> <li>Excellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize</li> </ul> Physical Demands<ul> <li>Ability to walk or stand for 8-10 hours</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs by hand</li> <li>Pallet jack experience (electric or non-electric)</li> <li>Pull, push, bend, kneel, crouch</li> <li>OT required during peak season (25-30% of the time)</li> </ul> Benefits<ul> <li>Medical PPO and HSA with employer match plan options</li> <li>Dental, Vision, STD, Supplemental Insurance plans</li> <li>Company Paid LTD and Life Insurance</li> <li>401K match - Match 100% up to 3% and 50% from 3.1% - 5%</li> <li>4 weeks of PTO, accrued semi monthly</li> <li>8 company paid holidays</li> <li>Paid bereavement</li> <li>Stocked marketplace with late-night meal options</li> <li>Product Giveaways</li> </ul> \n
