Role OverviewThe Lead Business Systems Analyst serves as the functional owner of Microsoft Dynamics NAV/ Business Central and is accountable for the operational stability of ERP related systems. This role partners closely with Accounting and Operations leadership to ensure inventory accuracy, shipment processing, and financial postings remain aligned and reliable.\n Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Accountable for the functional integrity and day to day stability of Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central.</li><li>Own ERP behavior across inventory, order-to-cash, purchasing, fulfillment, and posting workflows.</li><li>Serve as primary systems partner to Accounting and Operations, ensuring inventory valuation, shipment confirmations, and invoice generation remain accurate and timely.</li><li>Act as system owner across ERP, internal OMS (homegrown order orchestration platform), EDI transactions, and 3PL integrations.</li><li>Monitor and resolve live operational issues including posting errors, inventory mismatches, shipment discrepancies, delayed ship confirms, and invoice variances.</li><li>Own EDI outcomes and prioritization (850 / 940 / 945 / 856 / 810). Day-to-day mapping handled by a dedicated EDI specialist.</li><li>Oversee and prioritize work for an India-based ERP resource and US-based contractors.  </li><li>Investigate root causes end to end before escalating to Engineering or external partners.</li><li>Define practical guardrails that protect inventory and financial accuracy while supporting operational throughput.</li></ul> Operating Model<ul><li>Lead level individual contributor with functional ownership and cross-functional authority.</li><li>Reports to VP, Technology Solutions.</li><li>Initial expectation is on-site presence in Boulder 3 to 4 days per week to build operational context and strong working relationships.</li><li>Requires collaboration with global teams and availability during live fulfillment windows when needed.</li></ul> Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central in an inventory- or fulfillment-heavy environment.</li><li>Strong understanding of order-to-cash and inventory accounting flows (ship > post > invoice).</li><li>Experience working across ERP, EDI, and 3PL integrations.</li><li>Comfortable operating in live environments where systems and operations evolve simultaneously.</li><li>Detail oriented, practical problem solver who prioritizes system stability and operational clarity.</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with Accounting and Operations leadership.</li></ul> What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)<ul><li>ERP posting flows are stable and predictable.</li><li>Inventory discrepancies are reduced and resolved quickly.</li><li>Accounting and Operations leadership have confidence in ERP system behavior.</li><li>EDI and fulfillment integrations run with minimal escalations.</li><li>Clear system guardrails are documented and consistently followed.</li></ul> \n<div>$100,000 - $110,000 a year</div><div>10% annual bonus potential </div>\nPopSockets is dedicated to the practice of equal opportunity employment.
