At Wealthsimple, People Ops isn’t just a back-office function; we are the architects of the employee experience.About the role:In this role, you’ll ensure our Canadian and US payroll operations run like clockwork. You are a Workday power-user who understands the nuances of full-cycle payroll. While you will not be managing benefits enrollment or plan design, you should have a solid grasp of how benefits impact employees’ pay.What you’ll do:Full-cycle Execution: Own the end-to-end semi-monthly payroll process for our Canadian and US entitiesYear-End Support: Contribute to the successful completion of the full year-end reporting cycle (T4s, RL-1s, W-2s, T2200s)Payroll & Benefits Support: Act as a knowledgeable resource for employees.
