As we build toward the 2026 Midterms, we're looking for a Politics Growth Intern who lives and breathes political media, knows the landscape inside and out, and wants to help us grow Kalshi's presence at the intersection of politics and markets.This is not a passive research role. You'll be a real thought partner - helping shape strategy, identifying opportunities, and executing on ideas that put Kalshi in front of the right audiences at the right moments. If you spend your free time tracking poll numbers, following political influencers, and debating race outcomes, this role was made for you.What You'll DoHelp develop and execute Kalshi's politics social media strategy across X and other platforms, with a focus on growing our presence in political communitiesAssist in identifying and building partnerships with political creators, commentators, journalists, and influencers on both sides of the aisleServe as a thought partner on growth activation strategies heading into the 2026 Midterms, bringing ideas on how to capture attention during key political momentsTrack which races, candidates, and political storylines are driving the most engagement on Kalshi and translate that into targeted growth strategyMonitor political social media trends in real time and help the team move quickly when opportunities ariseSupport cross-functional collaboration with Growth, Markets, and Product teamWhat You bringDeep passion for politics: you know the key races, the major players, and the influencers shaping the conversation on both sides of the aisleFamiliarity with prediction markets and how they work; prior trading experience on Kalshi or other platforms is a plus but not requiredStrong understanding of political social mediaA bias toward action and a resourceful, figure-it-out mentalityStrong collaborator who works well across teams and communicates clearlyCurrently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate programWhat This Role IsA front-row seat to how prediction markets intersect with one of the most consequential political cycles in recent memoryA real contributor role: your ideas and work will directly shape Kalshi's politics growth strategyAn opportunity to build relationships across the political media landscapeA fast-moving, high-ownership internship for someone who wants to do more than make decksNYC Pay Transparency DisclosurePay Range: $20 to $30 per hour. This internship does not offer full-time eligibility, and thus, you will not be eligible for benefits. This range is based on the current available market data, and represents the expected range for this role. Kalshi has minimal hierarchy and few titles, but has broad ranges of experience represented within roles.
