You'll work with our Employer of Record partners for all employees hired outside our two main locations. This is the role for you.What You’ll DoPayroll & CompliancePrepare all payroll inputs and submit them to the external payroll partnersReview and validate payroll outputs before they go finalEnsure statutory compliance across compensation, leave, and working timeManage benefits and perks administrationOwn audit-readiness for labor controls and other regulatory inspectionsEmployee LifecycleRun onboarding for new hires: employment contracts, declarations, benefits enrollment, system setupAdminister contract amendments and offboarding proceduresServe as first point of contact for employee questions on pay, leave, benefits, and policiesMonitor French employee headcount thresholds and support CSE setup when triggeredSystems & DataOwn the HRIS as the single source of truth for all employee dataMaintain data integrity, run reports, and ensure the system reflects reality at all timesIntegrate our systems together so no information is ever entered twiceAutomation & AIIdentify repetitive HR ops tasks and automate them — document generation, onboarding checklists, data reconciliationEvaluate and pilot AI-assisted tools for payroll anomaly detection, employee query triage, and reportingBring a power-user mindset: prompt, configure, test, iterate — no engineering degree requiredGlobal EOR ManagementServe as Vibe’s primary operational contact for all Employer of Record providers worldwideCoordinate onboarding, contracts, amendments, and offboarding for EOR-employed team members across multiple countriesReview EOR invoices and payroll outputs to catch discrepancies before they reach employeesWhat You Need4+ years of HR operations experience in France, ideally in a tech or high-growth environmentHands-on experience preparing French payroll inputs and validating outputs — you know DSN inside-out, you’ve reconciled URSSAF charges, and you’ve caught errors before they became problemsSolid grasp of Labor Law and Collective Bargaining Agreements — not just theory, but day-to-day application to real employee situationsHRIS administration experience with real ownership: configuring workflows, maintaining data integrity, running reports — bonus if you’ve led a system migration or implementationExperience managing relationships with external payroll providers, accounting firms, or EOR platforms — you know how to hold an external partner to a high standardComfort building light automations in tools like Zapier, Make, or native HRIS workflow builders — and genuine curiosity about applying AI to operational workFully fluent English to coordinate daily with your US and RoW colleaguesNice to HaveDirect experience working with one or more EOR providers (e.g., Deel, Remote, Rippling, Oyster) across multiple countriesExperience navigating CSE elections and setup from scratchFamiliarity with US HR operations, employment law, or payroll basics — enough to provide backup coverage for our New York teamPrior experience building an HR ops function from scratch at a scaling companyWhat We OfferFor candidates in Paris, the pay range for this role is €65,000 to €85,000.
