The ideal candidate is excited to deliver high-quality online instruction and ensure students are well-prepared. Stepful’s programs are designed to support students at every step of the way, from getting certified by the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) to finding high-quality healthcare jobs.This is a fully remote, part-time, 1099 contract role.What you’ll do:Teach highly-engaging, live, virtual classes over Zoom four times a weekClasses are held Mon - Thurs, during morning or afternoon hours in EST timezoneCommunicate regularly with students over email and other communication toolsProvide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and prepare and plan for future modules, as neededDeliver clear, engaging instruction aligned to Stepful’s standardized curriculumSupport students in understanding Sterile Processing concepts across CRCST exam domainsAssess student understanding through assignments, quizzes, and in-class participationProvide timely feedback and targeted remediation to students who are struggling academically or with confidenceDocument student progress, attendance, and performance in Stepful systemsCollaborate with Stepful’s learning team to ensure alignment with program goals and student needsOffer insights to improve the student experience and curriculum deliveryWhat you’ll bring:Active Surgical Technologist Certification3+ years of experience as a certified Surgical Technologist in a clinical settingExperience teaching, training, tutoring, or instructing students or staffComfortability teaching live online classes over ZoomStrong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable using LMS platforms and virtual teaching toolsAbility to follow a standardized curriculum while adapting explanations to different learning stylesCommitment to inclusive, accessible, and career-focused healthcare educationAbility to work 10 hours per week per class, Monday - ThursdayBonus points if:You have experience teaching Surgical Technology or NCCT exam preparationYou have experience supporting diverse, underserved, or non-traditional student populationsYou have experience with online or hybrid education programsYou have familiarity with competency-based educationInterview Process:Intro Call with Talent TeamCase Study AssignmentFinal Interview with Hiring ManagerThe hourly pay rate for this opportunity is $30.00/hour.
