Based on the specific needs and job requirements, this role will be working out of our Bombas HQ in New York City. About the Job: We are looking for a passionate, versatile and highly motivated member to join our Insights & Analytics team as a Senior Analyst of Product/Merchandising, reporting to our VP of Insights & Analytics. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience using analytics to understand and impact critical business decisions as well as articulate its effect on the Bombas customer experience. You will have the opportunity to steer the daily operations and KPIs of the internal teams that make Bombas great. This person should excel at data collection and measurement through exploration, hypothesis formation, and thoughtful presentation of analyses to stakeholders in multiple domains.  What you’ll be responsible for: Work closely with Merchandising and Product teams to perform analyses to identify and implement growth opportunities, data process changes, and cost-saving measures Scope and build data visualizations, dashboards and LookML  to provide business intelligence and performance insights to teams Deep dive and query data to find areas of opportunity for stakeholders to leverage as well as perform ad-hoc analyses Partner with Data Platform to operationalize analyses and data models for various stakeholder teams Define, introduce, and refine metrics and processes that drive clarity into business performance  Lead Analytics projects from start to completion, and contribute to roadmap execution What we’ll love about you: Proven track record of conducting analyses and building reports that drive business decisions and strategic initiatives Data-driven storyteller with strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent critical thinking skills and business acumen Driven to get things done, while also constantly thinking of how to improve existing processes and analytical methodologies/frameworks in the future Detail oriented, while also able to understand the big picture and being open to feedback A team player willing and eager to contribute to the greater team and build relationships with internal stakeholders Inquisitive, loves to learn, embraces failure, and never gives up Belief in our mission and understand the importance of giving-back Comfortable working in an open office environment while staying focused What you’ll love about us: We are a team of smart, interesting, diverse, funny, and loving people. What you’ll bring: 4+ years of experience working as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, or a similar role Highly proficient in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries against multiple datasets (CTEs, Window Functions, and Joins are part of your toolkit!) Experience building data visualizations in BI tools(i.e. Looker, Tableau, etc.)  Basic Python or R skills (not required, but preferred) Understanding of ETL, data warehousing and data modeling concepts and practices Bombas is committed to delivering competitive and equitable pay for our employees. The pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $115,000 and $130,000/year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, market factors, and business need. The Bombas total rewards package offered for this position may also include other elements, such as annual bonus and equity target award opportunities as well as medical, financial, and well-being benefits. Additional details of these benefits will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment.
