Responsibilities Independently manage the preparation of full set accounts and oversee the month-end closing process on a timely basis to ensure accuracy and compliance. Prepare and process vendor payments and expense claims with appropriate checks and approvals. Preparing bank reconciliation report. Assist in audit queries and preparation of financial statements. Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping in accounting systems. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency and internal controls. Assist in any finance related tasks or automation initiatives. 7–8 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry. Good understanding of financial controls, accounting standards and tax. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle Suite) and Microsoft Excel. Coding knowledge will be highly advantageous. Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) preferred but not mandatory.
