Be able to handle multiple projects Be able to manage multiple stakeholders, influence cross-functional teams Have some knowledge of the I2M process Be able to plan and execute work plans, including development of risk assessments and contingency plans Identify and efficiently utilize necessary resources What extra ingredients you will bring: In addition, the candidate should have good understanding of the functional characteristics of ingredients, packaging materials, and processing capabilities and how they impact the finished product, to meet consumer and business expectations. The candidate should be able to leverage the value in MDLZ experts/partners and ensure compliance to quality documentation, regulatory requirements, FTO/IP, and confidentiality requirements. Education / Certifications: Minimum of BS in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Job specific requirements: • Minimum of 3 yrs. experience, preferably in the food industry. • Strong technical foundation and technical curiosity. • Ability to develop, plan for, and carry out benchtop, pilot plant and plant trials according to project requirements. • Able to develop and drive technical projects with proper scientific rigor: conduct appropriate testing, gather and analyze data, and develop recommendations based on findings. • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and manage complexity- from bench top to commercialization. • Participate in cross functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues. • Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to effectively communicate to all functions and levels within the organization Travel requirements: 10% but may need to travel as required to execute upon project requirements Work schedule: Must live within commuting distance to East Hanover site. Hybrid working model but must be able to come to office/pilot plant to conduct experiments and trials and collaborate/connect with colleagues. Salary and Benefits: The base salary range for this position is $77,600 to $106,700; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
