The Senior Revenue Accountant will be responsible for: preparing daily, monthly and quarterly advertising revenue accounting in accordance with IFRS / US GAAP and Company policies and practices; performing SOX controls; preparing relevant reports and schedules necessary for management and external reporting obligations; and other duties as listed below. This role will work closely with key stakeholders in FP&A and internal and external audit. What's in it for you? Contract of employment Hybrid work Benefits package: private medical care, life and accident insurance, MyBenefit cafeteria platform, sports card, social fund, retirement pension plan, Employee Referral Program Free access to the HBO Max platform Work-life balance initiatives: well-being platform, yoga, massages, educational webinars, Employee Support Program, film screenings organized by employees in the office cinema Training and development: training platform, co-financing of English lessons, Employee Resource Groups, Engagement Club - the opportunity to develop your interests in thematic employee groups, online meetings with experts CSR activities: volunteering, ecological and social initiatives Your Role Accountabilities… Own day-to-day, month-end and quarter-end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet flux analysis, SOX control documentation, and SEC reporting deliverables, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met Own the calculation and maintenance of the Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) reserve, including data analysis, modeling inputs, assumptions, and coordination with key stakeholders Perform and oversee revenue cut-off procedures at month- and quarter-end, including preparation and review of revenue accruals to ensure accurate period recognition Prepare and review schedules and other deliverables required for internal and external reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards Act as a key finance business partner, cultivating strong and effective relationships with accounting, finance, and other business departments Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to review accounts and revenue processes, proactively identifying and driving process improvements and efficiencies Develop a deep understanding of the business and upstream processes to ensure proper accounting treatment and identify optimization opportunities Support internal and external audits, including acting as a primary point of contact for assigned areas and responding to audit inquiries Qualifications & Experience… Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance with proven accounting experience in an international environment, preferably with a strong focus on revenue recognition Strong practical knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP, with in-depth understanding of revenue recognition standards (required) Partial ACCA or PIBR qualification is highly preferred Proven experience performing complex accounting activities in SAP Advanced Excel skills, including work with large data sets and analytical models Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision #LI-Hybrid Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
