The Senior Director, Financial Analysis – Enterprise FP&A provides strategic financial leadership and analytical support for enterprise‑wide planning, forecasting, and performance management. This role partners closely with Enterprise Finance leadership and all business unit and enterprise FP&A teams to drive disciplined financial outcomes, improve forecasting accuracy, elevate analytical insights and support executive decision‑making across the organization. Key Responsibilities - Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis Lead enterprise‑level financial planning and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with and execution of enterprise financial objectives and reporting to senior leadership and board of directors on a regular basis Partner closely with business unit/corporate function FP&A, Treasury and Corporate Development teams to ensure clarity and execution of expectations within every forecasting/planning cycle, including timelines, materials and analytics, forecasting methodologies, cash flow analysis, economic scenarios and other considerations Directly responsible for reporting, forecasting and ensuring execution of P&L performance within Cigna’s Corporate/Other reporting segment Collaborate with Investor Relations team in preparing for quarterly earnings calls Partner with Human Resources leadership to establish targets for and report on progress against annual and long-term incentive compensation plans Oversee enterprise performance tracking and scorecarding, including key metrics, variance analysis, and drivers of financial results. Prepare clear, concise and analytically advanced enterprise‑level materials for executive leadership, including financial reviews, scenario analyses, and decision support presentations. Serve as thought leader across the FP&A ecosystem to continuously improve analytical insights, forecasting processes and methodologies, forecasting accuracy and data visualization techniques. Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize planning, reporting, and forecasting processes across the enterprise while maintaining appropriate controls. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 12+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related finance roles, with demonstrated enterprise‑level exposure. Deep expertise in enterprise planning, forecasting, and financial performance management. Proven experience supporting senior executives with complex financial analyses and recommendations. Strong executive presence and ability to influence across a large, matrixed organization. Strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and analytical depth. Effective communicator who can distill complex financial topics for senior audiences.
