Key Responsibilities: Technical Design and Architecture : Design scalable, secure, and robust system architectures to support supply chain management solutions. Utilize AI/ML, cloud platforms, and IoT technologies to enhance product features and performance. Evaluate current systems and propose improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability. Collaboration : Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Work closely with development teams to guide the implementation of architectural designs. Mentor and guide development teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices. Risk Management and Technical Leadership : Communicate potential application-related risks to senior management. Represent Blue Yonder at internal and external workshops, contributing to functional or technical roadmaps. Lead the selection of appropriate technologies and frameworks to meet business goals. Technical Environment: The Technical Architect will work within a dynamic technical landscape that includes: Cloud Computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) for scalable infrastructure. AI and Machine Learning for predictive insights and intelligent decision-making. IoT and Edge Computing for real-time data collection and analysis. Modern software development practices including microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines. Qualifications: Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in software architecture, with a proven track record in designing and implementing complex systems within the supply chain or related industries. Skills : Deep technical expertise in AI/ML, cloud platforms, and IoT. Strong experience using BY product (TMS/WMS) implementation Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to influence and guide multiple teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in various programming languages and development methodologies. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
