This role is focused on enabling efficient project delivery rather than owning project decisions or outcomes. In this role a typical day will include: Supporting Organizational Project Managers in maintaining integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependencies. Tracking action items, risks, issues, and dependencies; following up with owners to ensure timely progress. Coordinating inputs from cross‑functional contributors to support on‑time delivery of project deliverables. Preparing clear, concise project status updates, dashboards, and summaries for PM and leadership review. Maintaining project documentation, trackers, and artifacts in approved tools and repositories. Capturing meeting notes, decisions, and actions; distributing materials and tracking follow‑through. Providing day‑to‑day coordination support that enables Project Managers to focus on leadership, decision‑making, and stakeholder engagement. Scope & Ways of Working Owns : Coordination, tracking, documentation, meeting support, and operational follow‑through. Supports : Project planning, status reporting, communication preparation, and portfolio visibility. Does not own : Strategic decisions, scope changes, budget ownership, or delivery accountability (retained by the Organizational Project Manager). WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:   Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent year of directly related experience (or high school + 13 yrs; Assoc. +9 yrs; M.S. +2 yrs; PHD +0 yrs) The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English 5 Years of Relevant Experience Travel: None Relocation: Yes PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:   4–7 years of experience in project coordination, PMO, or operational support roles. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow through. Proficiency with project tracking tools, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration platforms. Experience supporting cross functional teams in a regulated or matrixed environment preferred. Formal project management, learning management or change management certification preferred (e.g., PMI, PROSCI, ATD) Direct experience on internally facing initiatives with a focus on associate experience - such as process improvement, transformations, reorganizations, integrations, etc. Experience within Medical Device, Pharmaceuticals or similar regulated industry  HOW YOU CAN THRIVE: Collaborate with teammates to share standard processes and findings as work evolves.
