This position will support the Sentinel program and is located in Roy, UT. What You’ll Get To Do: Manages a program or a function within the larger organizational unit, setting & operating to objectives & providing guidance to subordinates based on goals, objectives & company policy. Program Manager responsibilities include: planning, risk management, and project performance addressing cost, schedule, and technical quality for related Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) elements on a large system development-type contract or full responsibility for all aspects of program performance on a large technical services-type contract Guidance Given, Assignments Received Assignments are received in objective oriented terms. Provides guidance to subordinates based on organizational goals and company policy. Work is reviewed in terms of meeting the organizations objectives and schedules. Knowledge and Technical Skills Advanced level of understanding in a specialized field or general understanding of several diverse disciplines. Involves a broad grasp of involved practices and procedures Decision Making Regularly requires analysis of alternative courses of action. Decisions have risk/reward implications for program or area of influence Direct Work Involvement Responsible for all projects assigned to the organizational group. You’ll Bring These Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience; master's degree and 6 years’ experience or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree. Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security within scope with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) Demonstrated track record/ experience in project management/ execution At least 2 years of program management, program integration, or program operations experience At least 2 years of CAM/IPT experience on a contract with Earned Value requirements These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:  Ability to demonstrate independent creative thinking and schedule driven problem-solving capabilities Advanced Program Management experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry Prior experience with the Deterrence mission Active TS clearance Current/Active Special Program Access (SAP) Primary Level Salary Range: $137,800.00 - $206,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
