We then provide   individuals   the   tools, mentorship, and experiences needed to build   a strong foundation   for   career growth .   Our Commitment to You   Cross-functional, high impact projects that   support   our strategic   business   goals   Structured mentorship support and professional development opportunities   Networking opportunities to engage with leaders and build lasting professional connections   Interns who   demonstrate   strong leadership potential and high performance are given accelerated consideration into our Leadership Development Program   What   You’ll   Do   During your time with us you will:   Collaborate with   operational   and technology teams   at Genie   to replace manual data collection and   manual   information sharing with automated digital solutions   Develop interactive   system s   t hat   add   va lue   to   our team members.   What   You’ll   Bring   Currently pursuing a bachelor’s   degree   or higher   in   mechanical   engineering,   industrial engineering,   automation, o r similar field   Able to work full-time   40 hours   per week for   the agreed upon duration of the   inter n ship   Experience and comfortable with logical and functional programming with an understanding of data types   An initiative and hands-on approach to problem solving    Ability to confidently collaborate with a variety of team members    Nice to   H aves   Interest in joining the Leadership Development   Programs after graduation   Experience with Low Code/No Code application building   Experience programming with Python, JavaScript , Tulip,   or   NodeRed   Experience connecting Internet of Things devices and collecting data   Experience visualizing data to   provide   meaningful insight   The compensation for this position is $26/hr for undergraduate interns and $28/hr for graduate or returning interns. This position is eligible for holiday pay.
