Your day-to-day: Utilize independent judgment and discretion to engage with carriers and expand your client base. Daily outreach to carriers and follow-up on potential business opportunities. Negotiate competitive rates with carriers. Develop and maintain strong relationships with core carriers. Coordinate with operations to monitor, track, and trace shipments. Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly. Achieve monthly margin and sales targets. Maintain office organization and efficiency. Communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and brokers. Stay informed about company activities, industry trends, and relevant regulations. Complete required training. Perform other duties as assigned. Utilize company technology to better organize your operations and sell more loads to carriers. What we look for: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with various levels of leadership. Effective communication and mediation skills with all levels of management within the company. Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and basic arithmetic.
