Position Summary: Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a Social Media Assistant Student Worker to support the mission of Grand Canyon University through GCE's K12 Educational Development department.   Primary Responsibilities: Preparing graphics pre and post events Data entry and/or wrap-up summaries in social form using Hootsuite. Creating, organizing, and editing flyers used for department or college initiatives. Appropriate use of camera equipment, including lenses, tripods, microphones, and interviewing hardware and software, YouTube Channel content creation Attending outreach events and representing the K12 Development department at events as needed   Equipment used and responsibility Laptop computer - Macintosh w/ iMovie and video editing software, Monday.com, and Canva.com Camera equipment, including lenses, tripods, microphones, and interviewing hardware and software   Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work quickly under the pressure of deadlines. Ability to work with subjects, create content, and showcase the subject matter. Comfort working in a professional environment and interacting with adults and K-12 students. Access to a personal vehicle Education: Grand Canyon Education is committed to a student-first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment: Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a bachelor’s program or Master’s program. Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student. Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University. You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements. Pay Rate: Minimum Wage Expected End Date: June 30, 2027
