As part of Minor Hotels, a global hospitality group with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, we are looking for a dynamic Manager of People & Culture to lead our people strategy and help shape an engaging and high-performance culture.This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys partnering with leaders to build strong teams, develop talent, and create a positive workplace culture.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the People & Culture function for Avani Windhoek Hotel & Casino, ensuring alignment with Minor Hotels’ regional and global people strategies.Provide strategic and operational HR leadership across all departments.Drive initiatives that promote employee engagement, performance, and talent development.Partner with department heads to support recruitment, workforce planning, and succession development.Ensure compliance with Namibian labour legislation, company policies, and best HR practices.Support managers with performance management, employee relations, and coaching.Champion the Avani culture and ensure a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.Lead payroll inputs, benefits administration, and HR reporting where required.Promote strong communication, teamwork, and accountability across the hotel.Qualifications & ExperienceDegree or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field.Minimum 5 years’ HR experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.Proven experience in employee relations, talent management, and HR operations.Strong knowledge of Namibian labour legislation and HR best practices.Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.A hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution.Experience working with HR systems and reporting tools will be advantageous.
