The position will report to the Enterprise Windows Operations Team. Responsibilities will include: - Manage and deploy patches and updates to Windows systems across the organization. - Monitor and assess the impact of patches on system performance. - Resolve issues arising from patch deployments and update failures. - Maintain and update patch management documentation. - Provide reports on patch management activities and system compliance. - Conduct regular audits of patch levels and system statuses. - Provide Windows Server support for both physical and virtual windows servers; - Configure and administer Windows Servers from Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025 - Provide technical support, troubleshooting, diagnosis and problem resolution and perform Windows Server maintenance; - Keep Supervisors & Managers aware of existing or potential problems in a timely manner; - Interact professionally with users, peers & vendors; - Perform Windows Systems Administration; - Troubleshoot and resolve OS, disk space and memory issues - Resolve complex technical operational problems; Serve as a Technical resource for the Enterprise Windows Operations team. - Write PowerShell scripts to automate systems administration tasks.- Perform special projects and initiatives as assigned.HOURS/SHIFTDay - Due to the necessary technical duties of this position in a 24/7 operation, the candidate may be required to work various shifts such as weekends and/or nights/evenings.WORK LOCATIONBrooklyn, NYTO APPLYSpecial Note: Taking and passing civil service exams are necessary to maintain employment with the City of New York.
