HSA administers rental assistance, housing supply, and placement programs to help individuals and families exit shelter, prevent homelessness, and secure safe, affordable housing across the city.The Human Resources Administration (HRA) is recruiting for one (1) Administrative Staff Analyst (NM-II) to function as a Director of Supportive Housing, who will:- Work closely with the Executive Director and other HRA executive staff to ensure that the overall goals of the SRO Supportive Housing program are clear and conform to the mandates of the New York State Supportive Housing Program (NYSSHP). - Provide leadership and project management on new contract awards and amendments. - Facilitate communication with ACCO and Finance to ensure all amendments and contract initiatives are processed in a timely manner. Monitor interagency efforts to ensure that deliverables and milestones developed are met. - Conduct regular meetings with program and interagency program staff to ensure continuity of service. Develop processes for monitoring and ensuring contract funds are spent fully and effectively. Identify specific operational challenges in the short and long term and develops solutions. - Advise the Executive Director and Assistant Deputy Commissioner on critical issues impacting the effectiveness of the division. Analyze issues and problems and recommends solutions. - Participate in reviewing new supportive and affordable housing proposals submitted to DSS/HRA.Hours/Schedule: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pmADMINISTRATIVE STAFF ANALYST ( - 1002D
