Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic architectural practice. As a BIM Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to ensure that all members of the project team are following the BIM Execution Plan and dhk BIM Best Practices. This includes making sure that everyone is using the right software, exchanging data regularly, and adhering to the model standards set forth in the plan. Additionally, you must be able to effectively communicate with all team members to keep everyone on track. What You’ll Do Standards: Be capable of implementing ISO19650 standardsManage the creation and maintenance of BIM models on various projectsImplement BIM processes throughout the project lifecycleCoordinate with project teams to ensure successful BIM integrationUpdate, develop and implement BIM standards, procedures and guidelines along with the BIM ManagerProvide support for plotting and electronic file submissionsAssist in the automation of routines in BIM to support standards and productivityAssist in developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow processes and standards with the BIM ManagerTrain, mentor and oversee staff on BIM best practices with the BIM ManagerCollaborate with clients and contractors to ensure successful BIM implementationStay up to date with industry trends and new technologies related to BIM Manage software products including but not limited to incorporating new version releases and customisation of the products with the BIM Manager and IT SupportSupport:Install and support related BIM software along with the BIM Manager and IT SupportLiaise with Autodesk where necessaryLiaise with software developer support staff where necessaryTraining:Assist the BIM Manager with providing Revit training internally to all staff as deemed necessaryAssist the BIM Manager in providing technical orientation& BIM induction for all new staffMaintain high-level competency through ongoing training Attend conferences, seminars and workshops for BIM and disseminate information as required in conjunction with the BIM ManagerProject Interface:Assist on project work – modelling and detailingAssist project teams on BIM project setupCreate Revit families in response to project needManage & Capture Asset Data (COBie, Uniclass and Omniclass)Help resolve various BIM needs in conjunction with the BIM ManagerImplement and maintain the BIM Execution Plan
