Job DescriptionThe Opportunity As a Senior Project Engineer/Manager acting as nominated Programme Manager for Building Services, you will be accountable for delivering the company’s Rising Mains Programme. This includes the repair and reinstatement of supplies on the Rising Main infrastructure within residential buildings across both Company licence areas. You will lead all programme level activities required to implement the standard rising mains replacement specification on a project by project basis. Programme Management responsibilities & duties will involve: •    Lead the delivery of the Company rising mains capital works programme, ensuring completion to agreed time, cost, and quality standards. •    Prepare, coordinate, and maintain the overall programme plan. •    Monitor progress, update resource plans, and report on programme performance. •    Provide weekly and monthly progress updates to the Company Rising Mains Project Lead. •    Produce accurate spend profiles and financial forecasts. Contractor & Procurement Oversight responsibilities & duties will involve: •    Review tender returns and support the appointment of contractors. •    Assess contractor proposals, including firm price submissions, and lead post tender negotiations. •    Issue work packages to successful contractors. •    Review works on site, including attending site meetings and monitoring contractor performance. •    Sign off completed works and review contractor O&M documentation. Compliance & Governance responsibilities & duties will involve: •    Ensure full compliance with CDM Regulations and company safety policies. •    Conduct safety audits and promote a strong safety culture. •    Ensure adherence to company PRC 200 process management requirements. •    Maintain compliance with Guaranteed Standards throughout programme delivery. Stakeholder Engagement responsibilities & duties will include: •    Interface effectively with internal service providers to support programme delivery. •    Liaise with external organisations outside of the Company including DECC, Housing Associations, Local Authorities, other utilities, and NGET.
