You’ll also engage with senior stakeholders, regulators, and strategic partners to ensure commercial integrity and performance.This role is ideal for a commercially astute leader with deep infrastructure experience and a passion for driving value, innovation, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Commercial LeadershipWork directly with our key clients, providing excellent commercial expertise and capability across the delivery lifecycle. This may be through secondment arrangements and being embedded within the client organisationLead commercial delivery across complex, multi-workstream programmes, guiding procurement strategies and contract preparation through to management and close outPrepare, develop and implement practical commercial solutions to support and guide our clientsOversee contract execution, management, supplier performance evaluation and risk mitigationEnsure compliance with NEC3/4 and FIDIC contracts, UK law, and applicable regulatory frameworksCollaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams and client stakeholders to ensure commercial clarity and complianceBuild and foster strong supply chain relationshipsDevelop and build a strong industry network across clients and partnersLead the building and development of broader commercial and cost management capabilitySupport the work-winning team to review and identify risks and accountabilities within tender packs and contractual termsProject & Cost ManagementLead commercial portfolios working closely with colleagues and associated disciplines to deliver a consistent and high-quality outcomeSupport feasibility studies, benchmarking, business case development and value managementLead cost planning, estimating, and final cost plan presentationManage post-contract cost variances, valuations, and change controlOversee final account negotiation and post-project evaluationStakeholder Engagement & Business GrowthAct as a trusted interface with clients, consultants, and delivery teamsCollaborate with senior leadership to shape strategies and support robust decision-makingProvide expert commercial insightMaintain a robust database of lessons learned and outcomesDrive continuous improvement across commercial processes and tools
