Job DescriptionTurner & Townsend is seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to lead financial control for Colombia and Peru. This role is responsible for the preparation of management accounts and financial statements, the regional month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory compliance, cash flow management, and tax oversight across five countries, while partnering with country leaders and global finance. The ideal candidate brings strong multi‑country experience, thrives in a matrix organization with multiple reporting lines, and has a track record of building and leading high‑performing teams.  This is a full-time position that will be based in Bogotá, Colombia.  Key Responsibilities Financial Control, Reporting & Tax Oversee end-to-end financial accounting for the legal entity operations in Colombia and Peru, including managing accruals, deferrals, prepayments, taxes, and preparing related schedules for the balance sheet. Prepare and submit monthly management accounts (Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet) along with supporting schedules as part of Group reporting requirements. Reconcile Turner & Townsend's financial system with local statutory books maintained by the outsourcing provider, preparing related schedules as needed. Collaborate with service providers to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting, follow up on tax matters, and work with tax advisors to manage income tax submissions and assessments, including responses to tax audits when required. Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close for Colombia and Peru in accordance with Group policies (IFRS/US GAAP exposure a plus) and local GAAP/DIAN requirements per country. Assist in preparing annual budgets and submitting monthly forecasts, acting as a trusted business partner to the Colombia Country Manager and the LATAM Finance Director. Consolidate and analyze regional P&Ls, balance sheets, working capital, and variance commentary; ensure accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness. Supervise financial analyses such as project profitability and variance analysis performed by analysts, ensuring accuracy and relevance. Review sales invoices, purchase invoices, and expense submissions processed by junior staff to ensure they are accurate, compliant, and properly documented. Liaise with external auditors during annual audits by providing required information, schedules, and explanations to facilitate smooth and timely completion. Undertake other finance-related tasks as assigned, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function. Maintain robust internal controls and SOX‑aligned processes where applicable; drive continuous improvement and standardization. Cash Flow & Working Capital Ensure payments are loaded correctly in the banking system and that corporate governance requirements are adhered to before approvals are sought. Lead cash flow forecasting and liquidity management; optimize regional cash positions and intercompany settlements. Drive DSO, DPO, and inventory/WIP discipline; partner with Project Controls and Operations to accelerate billing and collections. Monitor FX exposure and support hedging/treasury coordination as needed.
