Job DescriptionRole Summary As an Assistant Cost Manager for Data Centre Projects, you will support the delivery of cost management services across fast‑paced, service‑intensive environments. Working under the guidance of a Cost Manager or Senior Cost Manager, you will assist with cost planning, tender support, contract administration, and reporting activities. Pre‑Contract SupportAssist in preparing cost estimates, cost plans, and budgets for data centre projects.Support quantity take‑offs and rate analysis for MEP or CSA packages depending on background.Help prepare tender documentation, gather quotations, and support tender analyses and evaluations.Assist in compiling contract documents and supporting procurement activities.Post‑Contract SupportHelp track project costs, monitor variations, and assist in change control procedures.Support preparation of monthly cost reports and updates for clients.Collect and verify data required for progress valuations and payment certifications.Coordinate with contractors and consultants to verify work progress and financial claims.Governance & CoordinationMaintain organised documentation, cost records, and audit‑ready files throughout the project.Assist in value engineering discussions and cost‑saving reviews.Support the project team by providing timely inputs during meetings, workshops, and client discussions.Ensure key information and learning from each project is uploaded into internal knowledge platforms.
