Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Brake Engineer to design, develop, validate, and release brake systems and components for vehicle programs. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing to ensure brake systems meet performance, safety, durability, and cost targets. The position requires a mix of design engineering, test validation, and project management skills to deliver robust brake solutions from concept through production launch.Key ResponsibilitiesLead design, development, and release of brake system components (calipers, rotors, boosters, master cylinders, brake lines, ABS, and ESC systems).Work with suppliers to ensure component designs meet performance, durability, and safety requirements.Develop and execute validation plans, including laboratory and vehicle-level testing.Analyze test data, prepare reports, and recommend design changes as needed.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.Support root cause analysis and resolution of brake system issues during development and post-launch.Coordinate with purchasing, quality, and manufacturing teams to meet program timelines and cost targets.Manage engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, and DFMEA/DVP&R.
