Job DescriptionMissions and Purpose of this positionONE ContiTech – The first choice for material driven solutions.   Are you interested in shaping the future of ContiTech together with a great team? Please join us and contribute to our goals with your new role as EMEA Category Buyer - Buildings & Utilities and Facility Management within Purchasing@ContiTech. The EMEA category buyer for Buildings & Utilities and Facility Management is responsible for all regional tactical purchasing activities in the area of above mentioned Services.The regional category approach creates a mutual added Value for all internal Customers in terms of commercial, logistical and processual Enhancements by providing Expertise and Best Practices around the needs of the internal Customers as well as strengthening the relationship to strategic Business Partners (internally and externally).   Your tasksManage end-to-end purchasing activities for assigned material and service categories to ensure optimal supply and value creationIndependently prepare, lead, and close international supplier negotiations, including compliant supplier selection and documentationDrive cost and value initiatives such as make-or-buy decisions, bundling strategies, and value engineering projectsManage supplier complaints, claims, and escalations of strategic relevanceOversee the full contract lifecycle to ensure commercial, financial, and operational performanceEnsure full compliance with corporate policies, ethics, Business Partner Code of Conduct, and audit requirementsApprove and negotiate high-value purchase requisitions and manage the purchase-to-pay processAct as a trusted procurement partner for internal stakeholders through consultation, regular alignment, and requirement clarificationAnalyze spend, demand, and supplier data; define, track, and report KPIs for the assigned categoryDrive adoption of digital procurement tools and data-driven decision-makingSelect, evaluate, and optimize the supplier baseLead or contribute to cross-functional and purchasing-related projects within the assigned category
