Job DescriptionThe monitoring, evaluation, research and learning (MERL) advisor will be based in Abuja and will provide oversight on all MERL activities of all projects implemented by pact Nigeria. The job holder will supervise all M$E staff on various pact Nigeria projects. S/he will lead the design and development of program specific performance monitoring plans as well as monitoring and evaluation plans at pact and partner levels. The job holder will ensure that monitoring systems meet the requirements of the donor and that performance results can be used for continuous improvement. The job holder will strengthen staff and partner capacity in qualitative and quantitative designs and tools through comprehensive training, mentoring and coaching. The jobholder will establish and manage a database to track progress towards meeting projects goals and objectives. The jobholder will be responsible for reviewing regular program reports of all project before submission to donor.
