Job DescriptionThe Order Processing Associate for Eataly’s corporate buying team will be responsible for processing orders for Eataly third-party and franchise locations, managing order submission, sales order creation, vendor correspondence, and data analysis. This role works closely with Buyers and Category Managers as critical administrative and data support.· Accurately enters customer orders into internal purchasing system and submits to applicable vendor partner· Collaborate with category managers and buyers to troubleshoot order issues, including out of stocks and confirmation of approved back up item, pricing, and item ID· Tracks order confirmations, delivery status and communicates substitutes, out of stocks or delays as applicable· Processes and verifies sales orders for completeness, pricing, and accuracy· Follows up with vendors on discrepancies, shortages, delays or substitutions on behalf of buying team· Ensures compliance with order deadlines and delivery schedules· Maintains and updates order records, spreadsheets and databases in connection with order entry· Enters purchase and sales trade agreements (pricing quotes) in purchasing software· Creates data-focused files to summarize product performance, usage and fill rate by item and vendor· Support buyers and category managers with data and operational insights· Assist with process improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and fill rate performance· Exercises clear communication with team placing orders and provides consistent feedback on standard operating procedures· Performs other duties as required or assigned
