Job DescriptionRole overviewWe are looking for a highly responsible and proactive Application Management Engineer to oversee the stability and performance of our Instant Payment System. The role is focused on investigating issues, identifying root causes, and ensuring smooth operations in a complex multi-system environment. You will act as the first line of deep analysis, ensuring incidents are properly triaged, understood, and escalated with actionable insights.Key ResponsibilitiesManage, monitor, and support an Instant Payment System across development, test, and production environments.Act as a point of escalation for Production related incidents, perform troubleshooting and investigate root cause analysis.Perform root cause analysis using observability tools, log analysis, and reverse engineering when needed.Participate in On-Call shifts on a rota basis (24/7) and ensure support for Production critical incidentsSupport with release preparation activities, including PRs and branch preparation, configuration management and validations, in collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.Analyze recurring issues and implement permanent fixes to improve application stability and performance.Collaborate with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to optimize the application lifecycle.Maintain documentation for processes, system configurations, and application support guidelines.Continuously improve monitoring, detection, and analysis processes (using Splunk, Dynatrace) and proactively address potential risks or bottlenecks.
