Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Manager Tax Technology to join our Rexel team in Dallas, TX! (Hybrid)Summary: The Tax Technology Manager is responsible for the Vertex application and for creating business solutions and data feeds to ensure compliance with federal, international, state sales tax and local income tax laws applicable to the Company and the jurisdictions in which it conducts its business. Primarily focuses on sales tax exemption compliance, sales tax credits, and the tax systems and data feeds necessary to support the tax department as well as newly acquired businesses. What You'll Do: Manage the data feeds, data preparation, review, and data reconciliation of monthly sales tax data to ensure accurate and timely filing of sales tax returns in all jurisdictionsCreate KPI's to monitor service level expectations and monitor overall performance of exemption certificate compliance and dispute resolution life cycleGenerate/Maintain data files used for the monthly sales tax processDevelop and implement system solutions needed to support compliance with tax laws applicable to the Company and the jurisdictions in which it conducts its businessResponsible for documentation retention related to tax exemptions and tax credits to ensure exemption documentation is properly stored in Vertex for future auditsResponsible for the training, maintenance, and custom rules for the Vertex Tax ApplicationProvide Guidance on difficult situations in a diplomatic and professional manner.
