Job DescriptionJob DescriptionIn this position, the individual will be responsible for the following: Designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating Analog/mix-signal Integrated Circuit (IC) of high performance NAND flash, including new, most advanced 3D NAND memories; Designing low power analog modules such as OPAMP design, Voltage Regulator, Reference Generator; Designing high voltage word line driver circuits which convey accurate analog voltages to block decoder while achieving smaller circuit sizes; Performing sensing operation analysis, power & ground network analysis to enable precise and fast sensing operations; Writing module interface spec including input/output port description, architecture, and operations to communicate with other design groups; Verifying designs in simulation and interacting with layout and other functional groups for implementation, integration, and silicon validation; Conducting various feasibility studies at the beginning of the design phase for new architecture, features and device modes; Probing and evaluating silicon results by working closely with characterization engineers to fully characterize silicon, and partner with other designers to develop solution for silicon issues. Evaluation of these circuits will be done through HSPICE, PRIMESIM and VERILOG simulations and through silicon evaluation when the silicon arrives.
