Job Description JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer to lead and execute complex customer-facing infrastructure and migration projects in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. This role is hands-on and project-driven, focused on delivering outcomes such as Azure migrations, Microsoft 365 migrations, Intune deployments, server rollouts, and network infrastructure modernization.The ideal candidate is a high-level technical engineer who can independently scope, design, implement, and document solutions while coordinating with internal teams and customer stakeholders. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Microsoft Cloud + Azure Projects• Lead and execute Azure migrations, including server/workload moves, hybrid configurations, and modernization projects• Implement and support:Azure AD / Entra ID identity design and best practicesAzure virtual networking (VNets, routing, peering, VPNs) Azure VM deployments and migrationso Backup and disaster recovery approaches (Azure-based and hybrid)Microsoft 365 / Exchange / Email Migrations• Perform email and tenant migrations, including:Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations (as applicable)Exchange on-prem to Microsoft 365 migrationsGoogle Workspace to Microsoft 365 migrations• Execute both manual and tool-driven migrations (cutover, staged, hybrid where needed)• Troubleshoot mail flow, DNS, authentication, and client issues (Outlook, mobile devices)Intune / Endpoint Management• Design and deploy Microsoft Intune for endpoint management across Windows environments.• Implement:Device enrollment and compliance policiesConfiguration profiles and endpoint security baselinesApplication packaging and deploymentConditional Access best practices in coordination with identity/security requirementsOn-Prem Server and Infrastructure Deployment• Deliver customer server projects including:New Windows Server builds and upgradesActive Directory design/support (GPO, DNS, DHCP)File server and storage deploymentsVirtualization platform setup (VMware and/or Hyper-V depending on customer needs)Networking / Firewalls / Routing / SD-WAN• Lead network infrastructure upgrades and migrations including:Firewall deployments and replacementsSite-to-site VPN design and implementationLAN/WAN design improvements and troubleshooting• Strong hands-on experience with:Fortinet FortiGatePalo AltoMeraki• Implement and support:SD-WANRouting and segmentation (VLANs, static/dynamic routing concepts)Network cutovers and customer migration planningLinux OS / Upgrade Experience• Support Linux server environments including:OS upgrades and patchingTroubleshooting services and performance issuesBasic security best practices and configuration hardeningDocumentation, Scoping, and Project Execution• Own project success from start to finish:Discovery and scoping supportSolution design and implementationChange planning and executionCustomer handoff, documentation, and internal knowledge transfer• Create professional documentation including diagrams, runbooks, and implementation REQUIRED SKILL SET 5+ years of experience in an MSP or consulting environment delivering infrastructure projectsStrong expertise in:Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint basic familiarity)Azure infrastructure and migrationsWindows Server and Active Directory environmentsIntune deployment and endpoint managementProven experience executing:O365 and Google mail migrations (manual and tool-based)Server deployments and infrastructure cutoversFirewall/network migrations and troubleshootingStrong networking foundation including routing, VPNs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and SDWAN fundamentalsAbility to work independently, lead implementations, and drive projects to completion
