Define & lead Data Governance strategyShape and deploy the enterprise data governance framework (policies, standards, processes)Define standards, policies, and best practices across all domainsAlign governance with business priorities, data platform evolution, AI / Agentic roadmapExtend governance beyond catalog to a "Context Layer" (business definitions, canonical entities, semantic models, governance rules & instructions)2. Establish data ownership & accountabilityDefine Data Domains Mapping closely with Strategy / Group IT, to clarify ownership and ensure tight synergies with business processesSet up and scale:Data Owners (business)IT Owners (technical)Data Stewards (operational)Ensure governance responsibilities extend to:Data usageData qualityAI consumptionEnsure accountability and governance adoption at scale3.
