Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join our Peptide Synthesis team. The Scientist will set up and operate synthesizers, aid in peptide processing, and contribute technical expertise to improve workflows. Strong laboratory experience, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt quickly are keys to success in this role.Responsibilities:Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot peptide synthesizers and related equipment (centrifuges, rotovaps, and balances)Solid phase peptide synthesis utilizing both manual and automated methodologiesPerform routine wet laboratory techniques (pipetting, reagent reconstitution, calculations, weighing) independently to generate reliable and consistent resultsFollow and adhere to SOPs for standardized activities; recommend improvements as needed, and implement changes where necessaryComplete hazardous waste training and manage hazardous wasteMaintain accurate records and ELNStay informed on relevant scientific literatureIdeal candidates will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication. Experience with HPLC (analytical/preparative) method is a plus.
