The Insurance Operations PST is a newly established team in Malaysia supporting regional Grab Insurance products.Get to Know the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager II to lead and build our Malaysia engineering team. You will establish the Insurance Operations PST, driving technical delivery for Insurance products, and taking over operational support functions. You will collaborate closely with the local Operations team and coordinate with regional engineering teams.You'll be reporting to our Senior Engineering Manager and working onsite at our Petaling Jaya office.The Critical Tasks You Will PerformYou will lead the establishment and growth of a 7-10 person engineering team in MalaysiaYou will own Insurance technical delivery, ensuring compliance with BNM regulatory requirementsYou will oversee third-party system integrations (ISM, APAD, JPJ) and BNM regulatory reportingYou will coordinate service transitions from ID/SG teams to the MY teamYou will build local engineering culture with emphasis on operational excellenceYou will collaborate with Insurance Operations team to deliver feature improvementsYou will develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resourcesYou will implement best practices in software development, testing, and deploymentYou will participate in strategic planning and cross-regional decision-making
