Job DescriptionYou will join our Technical Safety departmentAs our new Technical Safety Engineer you will be part of a team of 5 highly dedicated technical specialists in Esbjerg and 2 in Chennai, who contribute to both clients and in-house projects with regards to technical safety. The work involves analytical safety analysis as well as workshops, facilitating for clients and development of safety applicationsThe primary focus areas of the department are the oil and gas, sustainable energy (power to X-hydrogen) sectors. Our services cover activities with Technical Safety Design. We cover all aspects of a project including concept and feasibility studies, detailed engineering, EPC and follow-up engineering. .The team cooperates closely with technical safety specialists in all parts of the Ramboll organisation, and specialists in a broad selection of fields for engagement of highly specialised competences when required.Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA) using Phast and Safeti softwareEstablish governing health and safety documentation and philosophiesEstablishing strategies for technical safety disciplinesFollow up to ensure that project design satisfy safety requirementsRisk and consequence analysis (Fire, explosion, etc)Escape, evacuation, rescue, and recovery assessmentsPerform design reviews / verificationsFire water demand calculationsFire & Gas detection layoutsCause & Effect for fire detection & suppression systemClean agent fire suppression systemsSafety equipment layout Prepare specification for safety equipmentParticipate in Dynamic Risk Assessment (DRA), HAZOP, HAZID and SAFOP workshopsWorkplace assessment (Human Factor engineering)Hazardous area assessmentSIL verification / validationVibration studies – flow & acoustic inducedParticipation in multidiscipline design projectsSoftware / tool skill expectedSafetiPhastPha-ProPipenetExsilentia
