Key missions of the position: Product Management, Change Management, Technical Customer Support, Coordination with Cross-Function teams to ensure smooth operations of Factory and resolution of issues within stipulated timeline Key Responsibilities:Product Management:Understand Customer Requirement and Support team with Development of Product.Understand product and drive lifecycle of product.Ensure seamless introduction of new products and lead from Engineering side.Implementation of Change Management and drive change management activity.Drive Value Analysis and implement Value Engineering alongside improve product reliability.Customer Coordination:Support CFT team during customer inspection along with necessary documentation.Represent Engineering in customer meeting.Documentation & Compliance:Ensure accuracy and compliance with all documentation as per company and quality policies.Support audits and regulatory requirements through proper record-keeping.Coordination with Cross-Functional Teams:Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure smooth operation of Factory.Work with Sourcing and Supplier Quality to implement cost saving and reliability measures.System & Reporting:Prepare regular reports on engineering activities and present to management.Process Improvement:Identify and suggest improvements in the site engineering activities and processes.Support digitalization efforts to enhance operational efficiency. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering Professional ExperienceHow many years of professional experience in a specific professional area are required for the position? 6-9 years of experience in Design Engineering or product management or System Engineering, preferably in railway or industrial sectors.Strong understanding of Systems, Schematics and Drawings including dimension and tolerances.Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of a 3D tool such as Catia or SolidWorks is desirable.Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving skills and decision making.
