Job DescriptionThe Fixed Asset Accountant is responsible for completeness, accuracy and timeliness of operations in the fixed asset accounts.Moreover, he/she takes part in accounts’ analysis and supports senior colleagues in carrying out responsibilities of the accounting department and cooperates with auditors.He/she follows Desktop Procedures and adequate policies and guidelines in place and seeks for improvements.Performance should meet the requirements defined in the SLA/KPI’s applicable for the role.Reporting Line: Reporting to FA SupervisorSPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESMaintaining Fixed Asset modulesProcessing Fixed Asset transactions and data entry for additions, capitalizations, retirement, changesPerforming regular analyses of the FA account variances and FA reconciliationEnsuring there are no outstanding transactions that are not completed before closingPerforming Fixed Asset Month End closing complying with the requirements and deadlinesPerforming additional tasks on request of senior colleaguesPreparation of periodic and ad hoc reports as requested by local team, managementFollowing adequate rules, policies, procedures and instructionsProviding support and documentation during Internal and External AuditsPerforming controls according to ICOFR frameworkAssisting with monthly KPI preparation
